Market Place
Published on March 30th, 2008Wow I woke up today so well rested. Rolled out of my bed at 2 pm in the afternoon. YEP! Two PM…and I am very proud of my laziness today. I decided to go to the ‘farmers market’ in my city.
Farmers market, is a dainty independent owned piece of property where farmers come together to sell their fresh produce. I am very impressed by this. I live in a city surrounded my numerous supermarkets where i feel my groceries aren’t as fresh as can be. Also I feel their products are overpriced. So when I find the free time I love to take a stroll around the individual stalls of the market place. In the market place can experience fresh Canadian produce and even produce from around the world. Missing your homeland? Then you need to visit this place. From many different European foods to Asian produce and basically anything you heart desires. Also the pricing is amazing. Everything is tax free. YES I said tax free. If you live in Canada you will understand the pain and burden that taxes can have on your finances.
So take the time and visit your neighborhood market place!
