Wimbledon Tornament 08

Published on May 21st, 2008

I miss playing tennis I remember when i was younger I competed in tornanaments and was pretty good at it. However due to studies and moving to another country I stopped playing. Another found memory I have of tennis is the Wimbledon tornaments. It is the oldest major championship in tennis. Held only once a year around late June into July it is a common favourite for me and my family. A common ground where we meet and recollect on the past victories and memoriable accurrances. Sitting close to the television in anticipation of who would win the current year trophy. Though it would be fun this year to sit around the televsion and watch the tornament it would be a one in a lifetime oppourtunity for me to obtain Wimbledon tickets. As usual it is held in All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet in London England. Which is another great reason I would love to have a ticket to attend the Wimbledon tornament. I would get a chance to visit my family who I haven’t seen in years. Other than the obvious excitement of being their to experience the tension of the crowd and see first hand the players, it would fulfill my dream of one day being close enough to the players to feel their tension, excitement and fear.
